Benin Parakou Hospital is a project that is assisted by the Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China. Asia Pacific Power Electric Limited, formerly known as FG Wilson (Engineering) HK Ltd, had supplied a diesel generator to support the daily operations of the Parakou Hospital.
The Parakou hospital covers an area of 1.8 hectares, while the building area is up to 7,046 square meters. It is a modern hospital with advanced medical equipment. It is a China-Benin Friendship Hospital (Hospital D’Amitie Chine-Benin).
FG Wilson supplied one unit of the P550E3 diesel generator set as standby power for Parakou hospital project as a supplement of the mains power supply.
The P550E3 generator sets have a minimum Rating of 500 KVA/400 kW & a maximum rating of 550 KVA/440 kW. They have a Voltage of 220-415 Volts and a frequency of 50Hz. There is no limitation to the annual hours of operation and this model can supply 10% overload power for 1 hour in 12 hours. These ratings are applicable for supplying continuous electrical power (at variable load) in the event of a utility power failure. No overload is permitted on these ratings. The alternator on this model is peak continuous rated (as defined in ISO 8528-3).
